OVERRIDE FUNCTION
THE system comprises an individual alarm override function for the sensors installed in holds that
may be used for water ballast to permit deactivation of the alarm for that hold.
The alarm is reactivated automatically upon completion of de-ballasting and changeover for the
carriage of cargo.
THERE is an additional alarm override function for sensors fitted in the ballast tank forward of the
collision bulkhead. The status of the override condition is indicated on a mimic panel located on the navigation bridge.
