FUNCTIONS
HOWID is an independent microprocessor system and is processing the pressure sensor data via
a serial network. Depending on the pressure signal and the seawater density the pre- and main-alarm
level limits are generated and displayed.
Flooding levels, level alarms, ingress rates, etc. can be transferred to separate monitoring / alarm systems
or to the loading computer by serial data connection.
The reading station HOWID MIP is equipped with a foil key board and a 4-line digital display for level and alarm indication as well as for inputting and adjusting of parameter.
A mimic panel for alarm indication, override functions and dewatering functions is provided.
